But what exactly is user-generated content? Well, it’s anything that is created by your audience, for example when one of your clients posts a photo of themselves using or wearing your product. Let’s say you’re a hair salon, this could be a picture of them showing off their new look. Or perhaps you own an Insta-worthy restaurant – if so you’ll likely have numerous venue or food pics to choose from. 

User-generated content (UGC) can not only save you time, but statistics show that 79% of people say it “highly impacts their purchasing decisions.” Overall, UGC is more likely to be viewed as authentic compared to content you create yourself. It’s the perfect way to build that all-important trust!

One word of warning: before you post that client selfie, make sure you have permission from the user to do so.
